Lane addition to Maybank Highway, proposed expressway to be studied

Charleston County Council has agreed to add a lane to Maybank Highway near the Stono River bridge to ease traffic on Johns Island.
The Council also proposed the construction of a new "Sea Islands Greenway," an expressway from Johns Island to Kiawah and Seabrook Islands.
