The tourism business is a-boomin' here in South Carolina according to the latest figures from the state Department of Parks, Recreation and Tourism.

The latest figures show the tourism industry cashed in at $18.4 billion in the state, that's up by over $2 billion from four years ago. It seems that tourism in the Holy City will only be on the up and up with the new cruise terminal and growing popularity of big name events like Spoleto, Charleston Fashion Week and SEWE on the rise.
