Cypress Gardens may get sewer thanks to Google

Google is considering extending a sewer line past Cypress Gardens, which would give the park a long-sought-after upgrade to its sewer capacity. The cost to Berkeley County would be far less than what it would cost to install its own line, The Post and Courier reports:

Officials say the Mt. Holly Commerce Park-based company is looking at extending a sewer line near the park, which would allow the county to connect to the line at a fraction of the cost it would take to install the line itself.

Cypress Gardens is on a septic system that meets the park's current needs but can't expand to increase revenues that have long fallen short of spending.
