CFCA looking for volunteers for Carolina Forest roadside tidy

The Carolina Forest Civic Association is looking for volunteers, age 14 and older, to work with other Carolina Forest residents to collect trash littering the area's roads.

The “Great Carolina Forest Spring Roadside Litter Cleanup”, an effort of the Carolina Forest Civic Association and Keep Horry Beautiful, will be on Saturday, March 31, 2012 from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m.  During those five hours. volunteers hope to clean up from 501 to River Oaks Drive, River Oaks Drive to International Drive, and International Drive to Ocean Bay Middle School. 

All supplies will be provided by Keep Horry Beautiful.  Breakfast and lunch will also be given to volunteers, as well as t-shirts to the first 150 who attend.   Everyone will meet at the Forest Square shopping center to register at 9 a.m.
