Chris Stapleton
Kentucky-born singer, songwriter and producer Chris Stapleton is one of Nashville’s most revered craftsmen, with a 15-year career that includes No. 1 hits, Grammy Award nominations, feature film contributions, the respect of his peers and, now, a new album. Stapleton will release his highly anticipated debut “Traveller” on May 5. The Mercury Records Nashville release is the rare mainstream country album eagerly awaited by fans on both sides of the dial. Blessed with an otherworldly voice, Stapleton earned this respect in numerous recording studios and anonymous writing rooms on Music Row and on stage as a touring headliner and opener for the most popular acts in the genre.
He has written five No. 1 songs for George Strait, Luke Bryan, Kenny Chesney, Darius Rucker and Josh Turner and contributed cuts to several major motion picture soundtracks. He’s also been nominated for three Grammy Awards and won the International Bluegrass Music Association Emerging Artist of the Year award as a member of The SteelDrivers. His songwriting credits span all genres and artists from Adele to Jason Aldean and he’s recorded with everyone from Miranda Lambert to Don Williams. Sam Lewis
“Lewis’ stock and trade is slipping into these simple expressions with the kind of ease one slips into a pair of 15-year old cowboy boots. He does it with a richly interesting voice, one that oscillates between the clean-cut, white hat cowboy sound of Charley Pride and the pre-disco swagger of Boz Scaggs”Michael Verity at The Bluegrass Situation
“this Nashville transplant has something to say and the skills to say it well.”

“…Lewis connects with a smooth, expressive, soulful voice on a set of easy grooving, just short of overly mellow songs that combine blues, country, R&B, and pop influences.” American songwriter
“…as coffee sipping albums go, this one is as warm, tasty, and inviting as they come.” American songwriter
Since his successful debut of his self-titled album in 2012, Sam Lewis has been busy crafting songs for Waiting On You. A soulful songwriter, Sam sings with raw emotion, inviting you into his life and love stories; he has a way of touching deep into the heart of listeners with his straight-forward and captivating music. “There’s so much soul pouring out of this guy’s pores you could bathe in it. It’s like hearing Al Green for the first time,” writes No Depression’s Grant Britt.
Sam has absorbed music from Roy Orbison to Van Morrison to Willie Nelson, and was greatly influenced by the Ray Charles record Modern Sounds in Country and Western Music. He has spent years collecting and arranging the relationships and experiences he has forged, and has drawn us a clear picture of where he’s going, and thankfully, he has invited us along for the ride.
