U.S. Rep. Joe Wilson has reported that the Army probe investigating allegations of threats involving poisoning Fort Jackson's food supply has been closed after revealing there was no foul play involved.

The investigation dates back to December when five Muslim soldiers were detained in connection with a Arabic translator training program.

Wilson also reported that four of the soldiers have since been discharged from the Army for petty crimes and the fifth was returned to his National Guard unit in Virginia. An investigation continues into other possible crimes relating to information found on their laptops, but it's shaping up to look like the five men will all be deemed innocent.

The Post and Courier has the wire story.
