To have loved and lost and found: A bicycle story

We all know that bicycle theft is a dirty, dirty business and a very real threat in downtown Charleston. But what happens when an honest person buys a stolen bike from a pawn shop?

The Charleston City Paper has the story of two College of Charleston students involved in a bicycle love triangle. What looks to be a classic Schwinn Stingray was stolen from its original owner in 2009. Nearly 18 months later, and one new owner later, the original owner spotted her bike locked up outside of the downtown Charleston CVS.

To find out how the rest of the cookie crumbles, you'll have to hop over to the Charleston City Paper's article.
