Saying a wave of illegal video poker that's been creeping back into the state, the State Law Enforcement Division is promising a crackdown.

For those that don't recall, video poker was once commonplace across the Palmetto State, but after a prolonged public battle it was outlawed.

Even so, some lawmakers still advocate for its return and, as illegal things tend to be, the large and obvious machines have managed to hang on.

The State has a solid report on what's up (read it here.)

Relatedly, back in March, SLED arrested seven people in a Lancaster video poker bust.
