Man arrested for Facebook post threatening Gov. Haley's life

State Law Enforcement Division agents have arrested and are prosecuting a South Carolina man for an alleged threat made toward Governor Nikki Haley that was posted on Facebook.

In response to Nikki Haley's own Facebook post that she "appreciate[s] freedom of speech," (Re: the arrests of 19 Occupy Columbia members outside the State House last week), 26-year-old Nathan Shafer blasted back with a comment that read, "I hope someone murders you before I do."

Woops.

Live 5 News has the story as well raw video of Shafer's arrest.

Back in 2009 a man was arrested for allegedly threating then Governor Mark Sanford.
