North Charleston Police are searching for two suspects who robbed a man dressed in drag of his purse on North Atlantic Avenue early this morning.

The victim, a transvestite, was approached by two men in a burgundy Grand Marquis and told to hand over the purse. After trying to flee, the victim reports that he was chased down and soon after directed back to the car at gunpoint.

Luckily, the victim had a chance to remove his wallet and money from the purse before handing it over.
