Food Day 2011, an event organized to highlight healthy eating, sustainable farming, and taking down junk food marketing to children, is being held at the X Sports Complex on George Bishop Parkway in Myrtle Beach on Saturday, October 22nd from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

The day will be filled with farming and yoga presentations, free food samples, a junk food exchange, favorite recipe makeovers, a nutrition detective video.  This is a great opportunity for you to bring your family and focus on healthful eating for the day.
