A Perfect Morning
Local area music talent Surf, Skate, Music Culture's first full length music video drops on YouTube.
Surf, Skate, Music Culture (SSMC Studios) looks at taking on everything related to the surf, skate music scene here along the East Coast. One of their first projects is exploring the southern culture roots of the music surf vibe here along the coast.
SSMC Studios launched their first full length music video featuring the local talent pool of Patrick Richardson, Chris Canada and Josh Sewell. Written by Patrick Richardson and Josh Sewell (aka Paterack and J-Dub), All Night features a strong East Coast Southern vibe. The song was recorded and produced by Patrick Richardson while Chris Canada tips his toes in the salt water with the direction and editing of the video.
Joah Sewell's raspy voice is reminiscent to that of Everlast, but with more of a Southern twang. The beats are smooth and refined and the chorus is really catchy. If you take a cocktail shaker, throw in Jack Johnson with a country version of Everlast, then top it off with Southern Comfort and a pineapple slice and you get close to what All Night is about. Check it out.
It sounds like such an interesting project. For sure the number of fans is growing by the number. There some similar initiatives of this type on this video editing Crystal Lake IL resource. There are so many young talents out there that they can produce such wonderful and inspiring videos. Of course we should be watching all of them, there's a lot to learn from it.
