Georgia-based singer/songwriter features Charleston, Bill Murray in new music video

You may not have heard of Emily Hearn, but you'll see plenty of places you may know in the newest music video for her song "Rooftop."

The Charleston Twitter scene blew up yesterday afternoon about the music video which was shot all around Charleston and features a very special guest. And by special guest, I mean the one and only Bill Murray.

Enough about the video, I'll let you watch that on your own.

Here's a bio on Emily Hearn, the cutiepie singer/songwriter from Griffin, Georgia:

20 year-old Emily Hearn is a singer/songwriter hails from the small town of Griffin, Georgia. She now lives in Athens where she attends the University of Georgia. During her first two years of college she made a name for herself by playing at favorite local venues like The 40 Watt Club and The Melting Point. Emily independently released her debut EP, Paper Heart, that introduced listeners to her captivating voice and gave a glimpse into her winsome personality. Only one year later she is touring all over the southeast accumulating a devoted fan base. With Emily's ability to write from an honest and vulnerable place of raw emotion, and also to express herself with a whimsical lighthearted charm, people of all ages and places in life relate to her unique music.

After teaming up with her manager Mark Bryan of Hootie and the Blowfish, many opportunities have arisen for the young artist. Emily signed a licensing deal with All Media Music Group out of California in 2010, which led to an opportunity for her to perform at the Sunset Sessions in Carlsbad, CA alongside acclaimed bands and artists like REM, Stevie Nicks, Iron and Wine, and Augustana in February of 2011. She will be releasing a music video for her song "Rooftop" in early 2011 co-starring Bill Murray, as well as her first full length album in the summer of 2011.

Unfortunately, Hearn doesn't have any upcoming Charleston gigs posted on her blog, but here's hoping she'll come back soon.
