No no, not that outer space, I'm talking about the new spot at 623 Meeting Street that is self described as "a safe and public community space that supports creative expression and information exchange among all people."

The central idea at Outer Space is to promote community involvement and invite the public to view art. The space is also housing parties with DJ's, dance troupes, live bands, bingo nights and films.

Preview has a nice piece on the new venue along with details on the upcoming New Year's Eve wedding party. Yep, it's a wedding themed party.
