Cirque de Soleil’s Saltimbanco is a performance that you do not want to miss. It has been performed for more than 10 million people on five continents and Charleston was lucky enough to be the location for their 17th anniversary celebration.

Similar to all of the Cirque du Soleil shows, Saltimbanco features extravagant costumes, high energy music, special effects, and unbelievable stunts but also has a more humorous and colorful twist.

Throughout the show, clown-like performers interact with the audience, bringing them on stage and engaging them in the performance. The acts include acrobats, dancers, jugglers, contortionists, bike tricks, singers, drummers, and never before seen performances that you have to see to believe. We would share photos and video with you, but photography is strictly prohibited except on press day so take our word for it (yes, they made us erase the memory card on the camera on the way out).

The show is only in town until Sunday the 26th and tickets are going fast, so get yours soon. Prices range from $28 to $90, but just know that if you are close to the front, you might just end up on stage!

Editor's note: Don't be like zealous Nikki and forget that you're not to use your camera. They will come over and make you erase it.
