The Post and Courier's David Quick writes a lot about what you can do in the Lowcountry's outdoors, so he thought he'd point out some of the highlights going into 2009.

The Charleston Dragon Boat Festival, the East Bay Bike/Pedestrian Path, the Hell Hole Outdoor Center in St. Stephen and a lot more are in there. Still, the list is far from comprehensive, but it will give you some new ideas for what you can do here, or serve as a poignant reminder.
