The Charleston RiverDogs rounded out their first series of the year 3-1 against the Georgia's Rome Braves.
I'm particularly happy to see them win the last three games after they were spanked 8-2 in the opener.
So, to whichever of you diehard fans came just to the season opener: Yes, they do always lose when you come.
Here's scores (with links to write-ups) from each of the four game days:
- Day 1 (with video): Loss 2-8;
- Day 2: Win 4-2;
- Day 3: Win 6-1; and
- Day 4: Win 2-0.
Now the RiverDogs play two evening home games against the Augusta Greenjackets on Tuesday and Wednesday before heading off for a string of away games -- check out the schedule.
And, as always, you can keep up with Charleston's baseball team on our RiverDogs topic page.
