It's weekend round-up time, yee haw!

Here's a few events we here at TheDigitel think you should take special note of. We'll break them down by day to make your life a bit less complicated.

Friday:

Let's kick this bad boy off with the Taste of Charleston. The three day food festival is back in town so prepare your stomachs. The second annual Rocktoberfest is hitting three stages at the Sewee Outpost this Friday and runs through Monday. Nothing beats a fun music festival, so be sure to try and hit up at least one of the four days of great music. If you're looking for something scary and historical, try out the Confederate Ghost Walk in Magnolia Cemetery. You'll get to tour the amazing site as well as hear stories about historic events related to those buried below your feet. If you're looking for something more lighthearted, make your way out to the Folly Beach Fishing Pier and dance the night away at Salsa Under the Stars.

Saturday:

Pork fans, rev your engines because today is the fourth annual Porktoberfest celebration. Enjoy live music, a rotisserie hog, games and the highly anticipated bacon cook-off. There are two different 5k runs to choose from on Saturday as well: the fourth annual Green and Lean 5k and the Courage for Kayla run. If you're looking for a more laid back activity and are in the mood to do a little shopping, hit up THAT Big Book Sale at the Gaillard Municipal Auditorium.

Sunday:

Lowcountry Local First and FIG chef Mike Lata have teamed up for the first ever Lowcountry Field Feast out at Keegan Filion Farm. You can bet your breeches that this family style supper will be worth writing home about. Looking for something the little ones will enjoy? The Teddy Bear Picnic in Hampton Park is sure to be plenty of fun for the little tykes.

Our event calendar has the skinny on lots of other fun things to do this weekend. Go on and have a look.
