With great weather comes great responsibility to use your weekend wisely. Lucky for you, we're in the business of pointing you in the direction of the best events Charleston has to offer.

If you're looking for some family fun this weekend, The Dee Norton Lowcountry Children's Center is hosting a movie night at The Joe Friday evening featuring the animated flick The Incredibles. The Charleston Battery have a home game on Saturday night against the Pittsburgh Riverhounds, and Children’s Museum of the Lowcountry is hosting the seventh annual Fam Jam.

If you're feeling frisky and think the kiddies are up for a little road trip, the 2011 Beaufort Air Show is set to take place this Saturday and Sunday at the Marine Corps Air Station Beaufort.

The Jamz Island Music and Arts Festival, the first of its kind here in Charleston, will be packing 40 musical acts into a two-day span on--you guessed it--James Island. The festival is going down beside James Island's Brick House Kitchen, located at 1575 Folly Road.

Eye Level Art is having the opening reception for The (Outsider) Art: Show featuring artists Jan Boyer, Alfred Eaker, Casey McGlynn, Mark Miller, and Tom Sassano. Be there. Friday night. 6 to 10 p.m.

On Sunday, a handful of Charleston's finest food trucks are posting up in Mixson for the second Food Truck Rodeo. The Little Blue Brunch Truck, Roti Rolls, Hello My Name is BBQ, and Happy Camper Snoballs will be selling their goodies from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
