It's pretty obvious that the new SkyWheel on the Myrtle Beach oceanfront isn't your typical ferris wheel. But the VIP Gondola takes things to a whole new level.

Skip the long lines and get a personal escort on to the VIP Gondola. Inside, you should see leather seating and a glass bottom floor. There are ice buckets for your, uh, water. Your ride will also be twice as long (about 20 minutes) than those riding in economy class. There's no official word, but the gondola looks like it will accomodate the same 6 passengers like the other gondolas.

Of course luxury isn't ever cheap. Expect retail price on the high end experience to be $50 per person. The grand opening for the SkyWheel is scheduled to be May 20th.
