2011 Mr. Myrtle Beach contestants announced

The 2010 Mr. Myrtle Beach winner, Dr. Russel Vaden a professor at Coastal Carolina University was the clear crowd favorite.

Katie's Project recently announced the 2011 contestants for the 3rd Annual Mr. Myrtle Beach Pageant. 

The Mr. Myrtle Beach Pageant will be held this year on September 16th in Valor Park at Market Common, sponsored by The Melting Pot.  Proceeds will benefit Katie's Project.

Mr. Myrtle Beach spotlights local bachelors who work for some of the areas most known attractions, 107 news outlets, law firms, city employees, and dining establishments. The pageant combines a male beauty contest, talent show, fundraising, and a woman's fashion show. 

This years contestants are: Bradley Livingston, Chris Butler, Chris Still, Danny McCoy, Drew Basilicato, Jaysin Gough, John Stetter, Matt Van Wie, Michael Quinn, Rob Hatchell, Ryan Naquin and Shawn Pitman.

What is Katie's Project?

Katie's Project, is a nonprofit with one mission, "to help students attend milestone events in their young lives that require formal attire. From prom to the school pagent..." Donations of formal wear can be made all along the Grand Strand and you can visit Katie's Closet at Market Common to donate formal wear and money to this cause.
