Annual North Charleston Arts Festival scheduled

The 29th Annual North Charleston Arts Festival is set to take place from April 29th through May 11th.

The festival provides attendees with a diverse variety of exhibitions, performances, and activities that are sure to thrill locals and visitors alike. The event was recognized by the Southeast Tourism Society as a Top 20 Event, and it's sure to pull in tourists from across the nation.

The main event will be held on Saturday, April 30th, and Sunday, May 1st, at the North Charleston Performing Arts Center and Charleston Convention Center. This event is free and features over 40 performers from across the country. Some of the features are the Lowcountry Gem & Mineral Show & Sale; Youth Art from Charleston, Berkeley, and Dorechestor county students; children's activities; and much more.

If you don't have a chance to check out the main event, don't worry--there are over 50 events continuing throughout the week. Many of the events are free, and those that come with a price tag are affordable.
