Update September 7: The opening was moved to Sunday, August 7, at 5 p.m. because of Tropical Storm Hanna.

College of Charleston visiting professors Loul Samater and Jarod Charzewski are offering up large-scale installations for view on Friday, September 5, from 5 to 7 p.m. The work will be on display through October 10.

Here's a bit about the show from the Halsey:
Loul Samater and Jarod Charzewski are visiting instructors in the Studio Art Department at the College of Charleston. Both artists will create large scale installations made from discarded materials creating environments that evoke the questions about our use of space and the physical debris we accumulate or refuse.

The Halsey is at 54 St. Philip Street in downtown Charleston.
