The Long Bay Symphony to perform Mahler's "Titan" Symphony

The Long Bay Symphony takes us through tragedy and triumph with the works of Gustav Mahler during their performance on Sunday, January 29, 2012.

Music featured will be the Manfred Overture by Robert Schumann, an early Romantic innovator, Horn Concerto No. 1 by Mahler contemporary Richard Strauss, featuring distinguished horn soloist, David Jolley, and Symphony No. 1 ("Titan") by Gutav Mahler. 

The performance begins at 4 p.m. at the Myrtle Beach High School Music and Arts Center, 3302 Robert Grissom Parkway in Myrtle Beach.  The price of admission is dependent on seat location, but ranges from $30 to $40 for senior citizens and $35 to $45 for all others.  Tickets are available at the door on the day of the concert or in advance by calling (843) 448-8379.
