Scoop Studios is very pleased to present William Goodman in his Charleston debut solo exhibition, Smut and Paste, opening tonight, December 3rd.

A free and open artist’s reception is in order for this evening from 5 to 8 p.m.

Smut and Paste highlights Goodman's work with cutouts, words, numbers, signs, and a variety of undertones and colors to create an emotional connection with the audience. “My images are often veiled illusions which echo deep layers of my own life experience, both positive and negative. My paintings simultaneously evoke a conscious, as well as subconscious, reaction from the viewer,” states Goodman. The mixed media collages blends the modern day with retro imagery.
