First Report: Business As Unusual aims to prove you can make meaningful connections and have open discussions all while effecting positive change in the Myrtle Beach area.

Business As Unusual will be taking place at Cowork MYR, a venue designed for collaboration, on December 5, 2012 from 6 to 8 p.m. Net proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to local urban arts center, Abiding Village

According to the organizer, Meagan Nowacoski, Business as Unusual will be a unique and inspiring experience that is somewhere between idea gallery and networking event. The atmosphere of the space will make it easy for guests to cultivate instrumental connections, and talk about the possibilities that their work provides in this community.

A very select few showcases of interesting projects will be displayed for guests to discuss and food will be creatively catered by a fine dining class currently in session at Abiding Village. Nowacoski, a CCU student and young entrepreneur, will also present a short keynote with an insightful and generational view of “how the unusual thrives in business today.”
