15,000 rubber duckies to race down the Wando River

Fifteen-thousand rubber ducks will be dropped off of the Wando Bridge on Saturday, June 6, at 11 a.m. and make their way to Daniel Island Waterfront park as part of the third annual Charleston Duck Race.

Ducks can be adopted for $10 -- the first 25 ducks that cross the finish line win allotted amounts of money to be donated to charity. You can adopt a duck for the event, hosted by The Rotary Club of Daniel Island here.
