Update September 23rd:  Head over to Celebrity Square any time between 4:00 and 8:00 p.m. today (tomorrow it will be noon to 4:00 p.m.) to sample the fare of 15 different Broadway at the Beach eateries.

First Report: Locals, everyone knows to avoid Broadway at the Beach during the summer, right?  It’s no less fabulous between Memorial Day and Labor Day…it’s just a lot more crowded.  We know. come mid-September, we’ll have the joint to ourselves to really enjoy.  Now it seems Broadway at the Beach is recognizing this with their first-ever Fall Crawl.

The event will take place on Friday, September 23, and Saturday, 24, 2011.  It will include family-style activities including food sampling, live entertainment, sidewalk sales and a fireworks spectacular.  They will offer extended hours of operation and a portion of the proceeds from the Broadway at the Beach Sampler will be donated to First Tee of Myrtle Beach.
