Piccolo Spoleto is hosting the eco-friendly, admission-free block party Break It Down Now! at the U.S. Custom House on Saturday, May 30, from 7 to 11 p.m.

Live bands and entertainment, an interactive art display, a “green carpet” and food vendors will come together to create a fun, environmentally-friendly evening.

Things kick off with an 80s cover band and break dancers, and will flow to present day with performances by Quiana Parler & Friends, Bueller, and The Spaced Invaders.

They invite you to "step out on the 'green carpet' dressed in your favorite 80s or 90s attire or get creative and make an outfit out of recycled materials."

Break It Down Now! is produced and directed by the Office of Cultural Affairs interns to promote and encourage participation in the arts of music, visual art and dance as well as promoting an environmental awareness.

The U.S. Custom House is located on the corner of Market and Concord streets at 200 East Bay Street.
