Come watch man vs. beast at the Walterboro Rodeo

On May 1 and May 2, the Walterboro Rodeo will be back once again at The Double D Arena. This year is going to be bigger and better than ever as it is the 20th anniversary of the rodeo.

You can take this opportunity see International Professional Rodeo riders attempt to ride, rope and tie some of the toughest, roughest stock known to man. These are some of the best cowboys in the world, so be sure to check them out on their way to the National Finals. You'll also have a chance to see trick riders, rodeo clowns, and concerts featuring South Carolina musician David Cooler.

Gates open at 6 p.m., and the rodeo starts at 8 p.m. both nights. Tickets can be bought in advance at select locations for $13 for adults, $10 for children 10 and under. Full priced tickets can be bought at the gate the night of for $15 per adult, and $12 for children 10 and under.

The Double D Arena and grounds are located at 1256 Rodeo Drive.
