2nd Annual Lowcountry Jazz Festival is just around the corner (update: kickoff on Friday)

From September 3rd through the 5th, local, regional and national artists will come together to perform in Charleston, South Carolina at a number of local venues during the 2nd annual Lowcountry Jazz Festival.

Large scale venues like the North Charleston Performing Arts Center as well as local restaurants will be hosting shows throughout the three-day event. The idea behind the Lowcountry Jazz Festival is to develop Charleston into a premiere live jazz town.

Tickets are on sale now for the September 4th concert at the North Charleston Performing Arts Center featuring Spyro Gyra, Euge Groove, Shilts, and Charlton Singleton. Prices range from $45 to $55 each. An opening reception is already schedule at Aloft Hotel on September 3rd, but no word yet on cost.
