Footlight Players offer children's acting classes

If your child or a talented teen in your life has the acting bug and is looking for stage time, The Footlight Players are proud to announce that their children's acting classes are beginning Tuesday, January 26th.

Acting Up! (for ages 8-10) is a class that will cover acting fundamentals, theatre games, improv and character creation. The last day of class will be an open class where parents are welcome to come in and see what we have been up to. The class run from 4 to 5 p.m. and costs $160

T.EX.T. (Teen Experimental Theatre for ages 11 and up) challenges young actors to create a unique, experimental piece of theatre. Students will work with theatre games, improvisation, acting technique, scene creation, storytellling, movement and speech. This class will culminate with an in-class performance. Class time is from 5 to 6 p.m. and costs $160
