Free screening of documentary 'Citizen Architect' in Cannon Park

On Thursday, November 18th, the Charleston Parks Conservancy will be screening the documentary 'Citizen Architect' which examines the role of architects and the public in Cannon Park.

Clemson Architecture students will be constructing a temporary film screen in Cannon Park, and Charleston Parks Conservancy will be on hand to support and represent the work they've done in the downtown park.

The event is part of the Halsey Institute's Bluesphere Earth Art Expo Program which seeks to bring sustainability education to the residents of Charleston, SC through a mixture of visual art exhibitions, lectures, films and activities focusing on the environment, conservation and how views of the world's resources are presented and expressed through art.

This event will be open to the public and a producer will be on hand for Q & A following the free screening. Show time is 7:30 p.m.

Update November 14: Nothing too much new in it, but The Post and Courier also has a preview of the event.
