Freshfields Village will celebrate Memorial Day Weekend with a free concert series that's guaranteed fun for the whole family. From May 28th through the 30th, three free concerts sponsored by the Town of Kiawah Island will be featured at the crossroads of Kiawah and Seabrook Islands.

Friday, May 28th, 6 - 9 p.m.

The weekend kicks off to the sounds of rhythm & blues, big band/swing, beach music and country by Men of Distinction.  The band will engage the entire family with their popular selections; see www.menofdistinction.net for details.

Saturday, May 29th, 6 – 9 p.m.

The celebration continues with The Great Society Band performing everyone’s favorite jazz, blues and beach music. This five-man ensemble’s vocals take fans back in time with tunes like Miss Grace to My Funny Valentine.  Bring a chair, blanket and get ready to enjoy some classic tuneage.     

Sunday, May 30th, 6- 9p.m.

The series concludes with one of the Village’s favorite bands, Congdon & Company.  They’ll energize the fans with rock and roll with rhythm & blues then move into familiar beach tunes and everyone’s favorite standard classics.  Please bring a chair and blanket. 

All concerts are free to the public.
