Blume Art Show is counting down the days to Tick Tock Blume, a dynamic celebration of our city’s evolving creative culture.

If you've been wondering what to expect from this year's underground art and culture extravaganza, read on:

Tick Tock Blume will take place on Thursday, October 14th at Club Pantheon, from 9 p.m. until 2 a.m. Musical performances include special guest and international electro-pop sensation, Nicky Click, performing for the first time in Charleston. DJs Party Dad, Chopsticks and JeffET will entertain guests throughout the night, representing local underground musical talent. An exhibition of selected works by Charleston’s emerging visual and time-based media artists will be thoughtfully presented and available for purchase during the event.

Other activities include on-site live screen printing, live painting demonstrations, and a body painting collaboration between two artists. Artwork, tee shirts, posters, and other items will be for sale, so be prepared to take part of the show away with you. A 1966 Airstream will be on the premises, functioning as a multimedia suite. This repurposed relic of twentieth-century Americana will include a photo booth concession. A special thank you to our friends at Tivoli Studios & Garden for providing the Airstream.

Tickets will be purchased at the door for $7 for guests 21+ and $10 for 18 and up. All proceeds from the Tick Tock Blume will fund Charleston’s first time-based media festival, Receiver Fest, taking place in March of 2011.
