(Update: post-event photos) We had a snazzy time at the Aquarium, and from our point of view, everyone else did too. We definitely enjoyed meeting new and loyal readers.   

Join the South Carolina Aquarium's newest group, the Aquarium Alliance for an evening of great food, music, silent and live auctions at the first ever "Sea Life by Starlight" event.

Sea Life by Starlight will take place on Friday, December 3rd, from 6:30 to 10 p.m. and will benefiting the education and conservation efforts at the South Carolina Aquarium.

Guests will spend the evening gliding among the festive décor and the Aquarium's living collection of amazing sea life while sampling delicious treats like sushi and paella provided by Caviar & Bananas.

Sea Life by Starlight will feature a silent auction and a live auction filled with items perfect for holiday gift giving. Items up for bid include a limited-edition Epic Sea Turtle GPX kayak, a dive into the Great Ocean Tank, gift certificates to exquisite boutiques and more than 100 other unique items. The evening will also include music from Tonawanda Kardex and DJ Trailmix.

The South Carolina Aquarium along with the Aquarium Alliance is dedicated to inspiring conservation of wildlife and wild places. Sea Life by Starlight is the perfect opportunity to get involved with the community during an exclusive event that benefits this cause.
