Famed designer Aaron Draplin is making a stop in Charleston this Friday night as part of his Tall Tales from a Large Man roadshow (he calls it a "speaking fiasco"). 

Draplin is the creator of the popular Field Notes brand notebooks and is known as one of the top designers in the US.  If you're looking for some laughs and creative inspiration, you won't want to miss the show. 

AIGA of South Carolina is hosting the event at the offices of local creative shop Blue Ion (301 King Street; above the Apple Store) this Friday, April 13.

Doors open at 6pm and the talk starts at 7. The cost is free for AIGA members and $8 for non-members. Admission includes appetizers and drinks.
