It's summer time in Myrtle Beach and that means two thing, tourists and lots to do!

Friday
- Myrtle Beach Battle of the Bands -this event has been going on for the past week and the final two nights of preliminaries are tonight and Saturday. Read more about it here.
- Drag boat racing in Bucksport -Need some speed? Like to relax by the water? Well then this event is right up your alley (or creek?). This is a three day event surrounding the ODBA Summer Nationals Drag Boat Race happening all weekend long with more than just drag boat racing. Check out the full story and all the details Here.
- Eastbound at the Boathouse - Eastbound is, "Modern Country would be the category that EastBound would land under if you were to look them up. But, if you have had the chance to see their LIVE show you would walk away finding it difficult to label them as “just” country." Read more about Eastbound over at their website.
- Celtic duo at Brookgreen - Thistledown Tinkers, the powerful music duo featuring Trip Rogers and Tom Eure, weave traditional Scottish and Irish music with original creations that sets the stage on fire. With an impressive arsenal of instruments including guitar, fiddle, mandolin, banjo, dulcimer, and concertina, their stage presence creates a rebel rousing party that not only draws fans in, but makes them feel like a part of the show.
