Charleston's Pecha Kucha 14 coming (Update: Sold!)

Update June 22, early: After a promised June 21 6 p.m. start date to sell tickets to the 14th installment of the event, all were gone within 35 minutes.

First reporting: Charleston's periodic display of creativity in 20 quick 20 second slides that is Pecha Kucha is coming back again on Wednesday, June 27, with eight local from the world of writing, arts, architecture, fashion, and, well, even tonic making.

Here's the lineup:

  • Brooks Reitz – Jack Rudy Tonic
  • Drew Harrison – Green Heart Project
  • Erin Perkins – Art Director at CofC and Blogger
  • Cyrus Buffum – Charleston Waterkeeper
  • Stacy Smallwood – Hampden Clothing
  • Elizabeth Bowers & Greg Colleton – Gris Galerie
  • Neil Stevenson – Architect
  • Charlton Singleton –  Charleston Jazz Orchestra
  • MCs for the night are Bob and Kris Galmarini.

    Doors will open at 6 p.m. and speakers at 7.

    Beer from Palmetto Brewing, wine from Bottles, food from Brasilis.
