This Thursday at 7:15pm, Ted's Butcher Block will be holding a four-course Damn Yankee Beer Dinner, focusing on both beer and food from the Northeast.
For $38, you too can partake in this menu, taken from Ted's website:
First Course: Blue Cheese & Chive Tart w/Walnut Crust, McIntosh Apple & Maplewood Bacon Confit, Truffle Honey and Whole Grain Emulsion + Southampton Cuvee des Fleurs
Second Course: Cape Cod Style Shrimp Stew w/Pecan Wood Smoked Peppers, Saffron, Corn, Coriander and Preserved Lemon Oil + Allagash Tripel Reserve
Third Course: Painted Hills Beef Short Ribs Braised w/Ale & Duck Jus, Irish Potato Griddle Cakes and Cabbage w/Corned Beef and Horseradish + Brooklyn Local 2
Dessert: Vanilla Bean Ice Cream with warm Cranberries, Whiskey Caramel and Homemade Chocolate Granola + Smuttynose Wheat Wine Ale
Their Chef hails from Boston, so I would expect some good ol' TLC coming from her on this one.
