What's happening and what's new at CBX this week

It's a big week of rare beer, restocking, and free tasting at the Charleston Beer Exchange.
Listed below is what every beer head and curious casual drinker should know:
- Rare Beer Tuesday - Sour Style: As they do every Tuesday at 5 p.m., the CBX boys will be tapping something super fantastic and ultra limited for growler fills. This week it's a hat tip and invitation to all of the "Sour Head" friends to come out for a growler of Bockor "Cuvee des Jacobins Rouge". This wonderfully sour Flemish Red Ale is unblended and aged for over 18 months in French oak. This brewery used to make the "Rouge" for Ommegang, and this beer bears exceptionally "similar" character. If you are a fan of sour/wild ales, you can't miss this one; it is world class and scores a nearly perfect 99 points at ratebeer.com!
- Thursday: Left Hand Launch Party and Free Tasting: From 5 to 6 p.m. there will be a meet and greet reception with Left Hand Brewing Co. out of Longmont, Colorado. These guys make outstanding beers, and they have been sadly missing from our state for a while now. Well, they are coming back with a bang and taking over the CBX growler station with an all out assault of Left Hand draft (and bottles, too). On tap for the evening will be Stranger Pale Ale, 400lb Monkey IPA, Milk Stout, Good Juju Ginger, TNT Weizen Bock, Wake Up Dead Barrel Aged Imperial Stout, and Twin Sisters Double IPA. The brewery guys will be giving away some Left Hand schwag, free samples, and talking shop, so get on down and say hello.
- New Arrivals/Back in Stock: New Belgium Abbey and Trippel, Dogfish Head Squall, Namaste, My Antonia, ApriHop Napa Smith Organic IPA, Lost Dog Red Ale, and many more.
The Charleston Beer Exchange is located in downtown Charleston at 14 Exchange Street.
