Consider this your Laura Albert's bulletin, as Daniel Island's premiere "purveyor of fine wines, craft beer, and gifts" has a number of things worth reporting.

First of all, their Web site has been completely retooled to higlight their craft beer offerings. You'll find their tap offerings and upcoming events on the right side any page you visit within the site, and an easy "Beer" link to their bottle list at any given time. Particularly handy if, like me, you are too poor to live on DI and want to know whether or not to make the drive.

They have also started serving dinner in house, Wednesdays from 5-8 p.m.  The menu is extensive, and sounds delicious on paper. If it's a hit, hopefully we'll see them expand beyond one night of the week.

Lastly, there are still some seats open for their next beer dinner, Thursday the 28th at 6:30 p.m., highlighting Terrapin Beer Co. from Athens, GA.  It's four courses following a bottomless beer reception, $45 (before tax & tip), and their selection from Terrapin's offerings is nice and hoppy.  Here's the menu.
