The Sundance Film Festival award winning documentary The Cove is coming to The Terrace Theater on August 21st.

This is what the press release has to say about the documentary:

The Cove follows an "Oceans Eleven”‐style team of underwater sound and camera experts special effects artists, marine explorers, adrenaline junkies and world‐class free divers who carry out an undercover operation to photograph an off‐limits cove‐ located in Taiji, Japan. The team is on a mission to discover the truth about the international dolphin capture trade.

As an added treat, the filmmaker Philippe Cousteau, a proponent of environmental and conservation issues, will be at the Terrace Theater on August 24 between 5:30 and 7:30 p.m.

The Terrace is at 1956 Maybank Highway on James Island.

Update August 18: Just got a note that the "official after party" will be at Tristan at 8 p.m. with hors d'oeuvres and cocktails.
