Believe it or not, there is a Grape Stomping Festival taking place this weekend.
Irvin House Vineyards, located out on Wadmalaw Island, will play host to this unique event. From 2 to 6 p.m. on Saturday, August 28th, guests are invited to spend the afternoon picnicking, enjoy live music, participate in a grape stomping competition and pick some humble muscadine grapes. Oh yeah, did I mention there will be an I Love Lucy look-alike competition?
Bring the whole family, there will be plenty of activities for the kiddes too.
If you don't feel like packing a lunch, don't worry - kettle corn, barbecue, and wine will be available for purchase on site.
Admission is just $5 per car, so squeeze in tight!
Irvin House Vineyard is located at 6775 Bears Bluff Road.
