My dog and I hit the park for Yappy Hour yesterday and came back with a couple of photos from the event.

The band was good, the weather was perfect, the dogs were in seventh heaven and the steady flow of Miller Light and pizza really made the James Island County Dog Park a super spot for a happy hour.

Dog lovers, reward yourself and your pooch after a long day at the office this Thursday evening by bringing your pooch out to enjoy Yappy Hour at the James Island County Park Dog Park.

From 4 to 7 p.m. guests are invited out to the park where a stage will be set up and live music will be pumped courtesy of local rockers Gaslight Street. Beverages will be available for purchase, but outside alcohol is prohibited.

The best part about Yappy Hour is that all it takes is the $1 admission fee at the gate, then you're in!

The James Island County Park is located at 871 Riverland Drive.
