If you want to treat your kids to the ultimate Easter egg hunt, then be sure you sign them up for the 2nd Annual Charleston Egg Drop.

Children ranging from 2-years-old to 5th Grade are invited to watch from a safe distance as a helicopter releases thousands of candy filled eggs onto a large field at 11 a.m. - and by thousands I mean 30,000. Children will then be released to their age appropriate section to gather eggs.

Onsite registration begins at 8:45am., or you can pre-register online. The entire event is free and includes several game areas, jump castles, and activities provided while people wait for the Egg Drop.

It all goes down, literally, on April 3rd at Coastal Community Church on located at 460 Arlington Drive.
