Stingrays win game two in finals, head to Cincinnati

The Stingrays have taken a solid two game lead over the Cincinnati Cyclones in the Kelly Cup American Conference Finals, rounding out game two 3-1.

Read more stories on this subject in our hockey topic page. “This was definitely more like the game we were looking for,” said Assistant Coach Cail MacLean. “Our defense played really well and the effort was there the entire time.”

The Stingrays were rather concerned by some third-period defensive mishaps during game one.

The Stingrays play again on Wednesday night in Cincinnati at 7:30 -- it will be game three of seven.
