52.5 Records celebrates 12 years, over 3 days

52.5 Records, the music and movie oasis on Upper King Street, is celebrating their 12-year anniversary of service with a weekend-long celebration from February 20th through the 22nd.

Store owner, Clay Scales, and his staff will provide a weekend full of fun, including specials like discounted merchandise.

Birdsmell and Autumn Gold will perform Sunday, February 22 starting at 8 p.m., but make sure to get there early, because only 52 people will be admitted (playing with the 52.5 theme).

Taking it a step further, the store will be discounting their merchandise 52.5 percent with a donation of a non-perishable food item to the Lowcountry Food Bank.

Without the donation, merchandise will be sold with a 12-percent discount, commemorating their 12th birthday.

So, head over to 52.5 at 561 King Street in downtown Charleston at some point this weekend to join in on the celebration. For more information check out the full story at the Charleston City Paper.
