The biannual Charleston Record Expo is coming back to West Ashley's Monster Music with "thousands of LPs, 45s, and miscellaneous music collectables."

It's scheduled for this Saturday, August 25, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Here's more details from the organizers:

This time around, at least a dozen record dealers will be offering their wares, taking up a minimum of 25 8' tables. The event is free and open to the public and will be held next to World Market at the West Ashley Shoppes (address below). Hello My Name is BBQ will be on site serving up delicious 'cue. Other food vendors may be signing up as well.

And the vinyl. There'll be collectable, high-end stuff, but there will be lots of bargains as well, ranging from $1 on up. This show is equally for the casual consumer and the seasoned collector.

Best of all, it's an opportunity to meet new friends and experience the joys of record buying, collecting, swapping, listening.

Dealer tables are close to sold out, but limited space remains available.
