Before the E.T. show, Mount Pleasant to celebrate its 'All-America' title

To celebrate being named an "All-America City," Mount Pleasant is hosting a party at the Memorial Waterfront Park on Saturday, July 24, at 8: 30 p.m.
The Post and Courier has some good details of the celebration, including the fact that free shirts with the town's shiny new logo will be given to the first 500 people.
At 9 p.m. the "Movie at the Park" feature will begin, showing E.T.
